She completed her undergraduate education at Cumhuriyet University School of Nursing in 1996. She worked as a nurse in Hacettepe psychiatry clinic for eight years. She completed her master's degree at Hacettepe University and her doctorate at Marmara University. She has more than one therapy training. She started her academic journey at Pamukkale University School of Health in 2004 and she is currently working at Aydın Adnan Menderes University Faculty of Nursing, Department of Mental Health and Diseases Nursing. Her fields of study are women's mental health, fragile groups, old age, addiction and existential philosophy. She is a member of the board of directors of the Psychological Counselling and Guidance Application and Research Centre (PDRM) of our university and is also the Addiction Study Unit Responsible.
