Dear Participants
We are honoured to announce that we will hold the first International Congress on Women in the 21st Century between 24-29 March 2026 at Aydın Adnan Menderes University and invite you to our event.
Women have fulfilled many roles, especially motherhood, since the world has existed, and have acquired new roles in parallel with the changes in societies. Although they are the basic building block and indispensable element of society, they have experienced many unfair and negative lives throughout the ages. In the first quarter of the 21st century, when technological developments accelerated and artificial intelligence started to settle in our lives, many reasons such as natural disasters, wars and climate change, especially the Covid-19 pandemic, continued to affect women's lives.
The main theme of this congress we have organised has been "....., which shapes today and shapes the future". We wanted to complete the continuation of the theme by coming together with you. We aimed to create new perspectives and collaborations by targeting participation from different fields and disciplines to this congress, which we are preparing with a multi-disciplinary team.
In addition to the scientific sessions, we wanted this congress to be like a festival with various social and artistic activities that bring together women from different areas of life. For this reason, we also organised courses involving science, art and skills.
In the most beautiful moments of spring, when the flowers bloom on our campus, as Herodotus said, "On the most beautiful earth under the sky", we will be very happy to come together with you. Hope to meet you at our congress ...
Sincerely,
Asst. Prof. Dr Sibel ŞEKER
