After graduating from Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Education, Department of Turkish Language Teaching in 2003, Ölmez Ceylan was appointed as a Turkish language teacher at the Ministry of National Education in the same year. Ölmez Ceylan, who received her master's degree in Ege University, Department of Educational Administration, Supervision, Planning and Economics between 2004-2007, completed her doctorate education in the same department and university in 2019. In 2022, Ölmez Ceylan, who received the title of associate professor in the field of Educational Sciences from ÜAK, has articles and book chapters published nationally and internationally, and many papers presented in national and international congresses. She has been a member of the organising committee of national and international congresses and workshops. Ölmez Ceylan, who has been involved in various scientific research, TUBITAK and EU projects, has worked as an editor, author and language expert in many textbooks and various publications approved by the Board of Education since his early years of teaching. Ölmez Ceylan, who has given many teacher and administrator trainings, has participated as an invited speaker in panels, conferences and interviews in the field of education. Continuing his researches and studies, Ölmez Ceylan was appointed as İzmir Provincial National Education Branch Manager in 2023 and continues to work in this position.
