She is working at Aydın Adnan Menderes University, Nazilli Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Labour Economics and Industrial Relations. Her research interests include long-term care and social policies for the elderly in need of care, home care, the role of family care, the economic value of family care, migrant care workforce, volunteering, and ageing and quality of life. As a postdoctoral visiting researcher at King's College London Social Care Workforce Research Unit, she conducted research within the scope of the current project on long-term care needs in the Turkish community living in London. She has taken part in projects related to elderly care policies in various domestic and foreign institutions, especially the Ministry of Family and Social Services and the European Union. She has published articles and books on long-term care models of the elderly, care insurance, family care value and volunteering.
