My family migrated from Ordu to Istanbul in the early 1960s. Along with my 3 brothers, I was born in Istanbul on 20 November 1974. I attended primary and secondary school in public schools and high school at Şişli Terakki High School. Afterwards, I completed my undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering at Yıldız Technical University. Then I completed my master's degree in the same department at the same university. I started working during my master's degree. I have been working in private companies since 1997, except for my military service. In 2016, I became one of the founding members of KALBEN Association, which works for children under state protection. I have been a general member since 2021. In 2016, I applied for adoption. A year later, I became the first single male in Turkey to be approved for adoption. In December 2018, I met my son. We continue our life happily as a family with father, son and two cats. In order to contribute to my personal development and to be more useful to other parents, I received a total of 200 hours of coaching training from two separate ICF-approved, accredited institutions. In May 2024, my first book "Father from the Heart - Welcome to My Life" was published. In the first part of my book, I wanted to raise awareness and encourage by telling about my adoption process. In the second part, as a single parent father, I aimed to be useful to parents by telling my fatherhood experiences under seventeen headings in the light of the knowledge I gained from my coaching training.
